Swastika Mahat was born on 2058 B.S. She has completed SEE level. Her father name is Bhupendra Hung Mahat. She is actively involved in her studies and in politics from Nepali congress, one of the major political party in Nepal. She was influenced by her father and grew up in a political environment. Her father was also actively involved in politics for transformation of society, he was also a former ward president. Her father died on 2076 B.S. She was elected as Ward Chairman of Nepali Congress of Dallu Municipality-3 of Dailekh during the 14th general convention at the age of 19.
