Sunita Dangol is a media professional, public speaker, trainer and Ranjana Lipi Campaigner. She has worked in NTV, Capital FM (as a radio presenter). Sunita Dangol was crowned Miss Newa on December 31, 2011 held in Nepal academy hall, Kathmandu, Nepal. She became the 7th Miss Newa. It is a talent show with 36 contestants from age group of 16 to 22. The event was organized by Nepalese Fashion to showcase their talent.
She has also been involved with numerous social service organizations, Callijatra (to promote the use of Newa language script known as Ranjana Lipi). She has held the titles of President of Nepalese Fashion Home Social Welfare Wing, Goodwill Ambassador For Cancer association of Nepal, Youth Ambassador for Peace (Youth and Student for peace) and Blood Ambassador (Blood Donors Association of Nepal).
